Keeping up with the latest iOS games can be a great way to not only pass the time but also familiarize yourself with some of the top trends in mobile gaming. Puzzle games are always in style, and for good reason. No matter where you go or what your normal gaming hobbies are, a puzzle game can be just what you need to sit back, relax and rely on your wits to carry you through an exciting series of challenges in an immersive game world. With World of ball, by Aflagames, you can expect just that, wrapped up in the same familiar package that puzzle gamers know and love.

Aflagames is an experienced video game developer that has already released a number of other classic mobile games for individuals to enjoy. These include classics such as Math Panic, Catch Color, Jet Pack Water Jump and Dots Memory Game. Following their traditionally cute and colorful artistic style, World of Ball showcases vibrant design elements and simple gameplay mechanics, meant to not only captivate fans of the company but also provide beginners with an easy way to jump into the action. The game is available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play store for users of both devices.

The game’s story is relatively simple and lighthearted. After a magical portal appears and begins taking over surrounding planets, it will be up to you, the player, to free the planets and ensure that the portal is closed once and for all. With the assistance of local cubes, try and bounce six consecutive balls into each portal in order to move on to the next level. Though this may seem like a relatively easy to understand premise, the trick lies in the gameplay itself, which changes with each level and provides players with different ways to approach each level.

In order to sink the balls into each portal, you should figure out the correct angle, position and individual arrangement of the different objects that appear on the screen in order to have the balls fall into the portal. Experimentation is critical to the approach itself, and individuals will need to apply trial and error in order to determine how to best achieve the level’s goal. This is reminiscent of many other puzzle games, which provides players with familiar ground to stand on, especially if they are already fans of the puzzle genre and have played this type of game before.

As soon as players may start to get the hang of it, the difficulty begins to ramp up noticeably as they go through each of the levels. The easy approach quickly becomes difficult as bounces and gravity begin to factor into the equation. Players will need to be able to adjust their strategy on the fly in order to get the desired results at the end of each level. If you feel as though you are starting to get stuck on a level, do not be afraid to take a step back and think about what you could be doing differently.

In addition to the interactive and exciting gameplay, the art direction of the game is a treat to behold. The game features five unique planets to check out, each of which contains 24 levels that contain different elements with which players can interact. In addition to the gameplay itself, the levels also hide achievements, which allow players to win medals and unlock new items for their session, including new balls and cannons. The various challenges available in the game make it have tremendous replay value, and you can always challenge your friends and turn the game into a more competitive one. If you are interested in seeing what the game’s experience can offer you, be sure to check out your phone’s store and give World of ball a spin.
