Locate the CoderDojo nearest you and maybe your kid will learn to develop their own app! Future plans for the app include creating a coding quiz section with input from the CoderDojo kids and kids’ project showcase.


Khan Academy: you can learn anything

Free. Go to Science>Computer Science in this app and access videos that introduce your kids (and you?) to concepts such as variables, binary numbers, and strings.

.99 This app has video guides to creating a maze in Scratch, the popular visual programming language for kids from MIT.
