Yet again another dual stick shooter has made it into the App Store and is taking the world by storm. But this one is different. Gun Bros is a free game. Let me repeat that: a free game that easily outclasses any of the paid apps in graphics, gameplay, and features.
The first time I started it up I didn’t expect much. But as I began to play, it became apparent this game was ridiculously deep and fun to play. You play as one of two men created for the sole purpose of wreaking havoc on anything in their way. As you play through waves, you will collect experience that can be used to create money. This money buys new abilities, weapons, and much more.
The game looks absolutely gorgeous, although I did find the menu system to be a little sluggish. You can hook-up with another player online to duke it out together and rumor has it that Wi-Fi gameplay is coming in the near future. Overall, the game is far from perfect, but for the easy price of nothing, you really can’t beat all the content you get. Definitely check this game out.
